"Face-took"

Films: Friend Request (2016)

Alias: Marina Nedifar/Marina Mills

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area/Eldritch Location

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: On one hand, it did seem inevitable that they would make a horror movie all about how some teens place way too much importance on their oftentimes meaningless social media accounts. On the other hand, it borders on utter stupidity at times to think that an impressively violent and death-laden haunt would be caused by such vapid drama. But then again, perhaps the pettiness of it all is what's supposed to be what scares us...

History: Long ago, Marina Nedifar was a social outcast who disappeared after maiming two boys who constantly mocked her when she still lived at an orphanage. She had in fact used a black mirror, a tool of witches, to use supernatural powers. But this takes place when she's at high school, still an outcast. After one of the most popular girls there, Laura Woodson, adds her to her friends list on Facebook out of pity, she becomes obsessed with being her friend, to the point of committing suicide when said girl tires of her constant invasion of personal space. But once again, the black mirror does its thing, and Marina comes back as an evil spirit to kill all of Laura's friends, ruin her social media life, and drive her insane.

Notable Kills: Makes a person slam their head into an elevator wall, makes another shoot themselves, and of course, the black wasp swarm.

Final Fate: Laura's eventually confronted by Marina, who, after having killed just about everyone connected to her, possesses her, stating that all she wanted was her friendship. Soon, Marina, inhabiting Laura's body, is seen in the exact same place at the school she was when she found Laura to begin with.

Powers/Abilities: Possession, manipulation of reality, control over swarms of black wasps.

Weakness: Supposedly, if the black mirror is destroyed, so is she.

Scariness Factor: 4-If one can just put away the absurdity of her motivations, Laura is a very distrusting ghost. Her true appearance looks like someone Pazuzu possessed at some point, her possession skills are exceedingly brutal, and may the Heavens have mercy if she decides to unleash that wasp horde. And remember, if you like the popular girl on the internet, she will FIND you.

Trivia: -Marina was played by Liesl Ahlers. Moscow gave her an award for it.

-In case you didn't notice, Marina Nedifar's last name is an anagram for the phrase "A friend". For the record, anagrams are always interesting, so we'll let it slide.

If the curtains could talk...

It always is. It's just more blatant this time.

Truly, a face that embodies mental health.
The evil of Facebook is just growing bigger, like its ignorance.

Somebody brush those teeth, yes.

"This your good side?"
